Test Engineer - UI Testing (2-6 yrs)

Job Description for Frontend Test Engineer :

The candidate will be responsible for testing user interfaces (UI), identifying bugs, and ensuring that the frontend works seamlessly across different browsers and devices. The Candidate will work closely with developers and product teams to maintain a high standard of user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Test UI components and workflows to ensure they function correctly across various devices and browsers.

- Develop and execute test cases for frontend applications, including functional, UI/UX, and accessibility testing.

- Identify, report, and track bugs.

- Ensure cross-browser compatibility for web applications (Chrome, Firefox).

- Perform performance testing (Lighthouse, WebPageTest) to identify and resolve UI bottlenecks is a plus.

- Experience with mobile UI testing is a plus.

- Stay updated with testing tools (Selenium, Test Cafe, Jasmine/Karma) and best practices to improve testing efficiency,

Required Skills :

- Experience with browser developer tools for debugging UI issues.

- Familiarity with responsive testing and cross-browser testing.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines for test automation.

- Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman.
