Key Responsibility Areas:
Social Media Management:
• Plan and execute content strategy for select social media accounts, including (but not limited
to) Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), Pinterest, Threads and TikTok. Work
closely with Social media executive to grow newer accounts.
• Plan and maintain a content calendar with posts, stories, reels, and community engagement
activities.
• Develop engaging, kid-friendly, and parent-approved content.
• Schedule posts, and analyze performance metrics (engagement, reach, video views, follower
growth, etc.) to optimize strategy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align social media with marketing campaigns, seasonal
trends, and audience insights and with the design team to produce visually appealing assets.
• Optimize content formats for different platforms (YouTube Kids, Instagram, Facebook,
TikTok, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest).
• Experiment with new content - Explore emerging platforms where kids' content
consumption is growing.
Community building and engagement
• Foster an interactive and safe community for parents and kids through active engagement
(comments, DMs, polls, Q&As).
• Implement strategies to increase followers, engagement rates, and brand interactions across
platforms.
• Monitor and respond to user-generated content, reviews, and queries promptly.
Influencer Collaborations
• Identify and collaborate with family-friendly influencers, mom bloggers, and kid content
creators for partnerships across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and niche platforms.
• Own the influencer partnership process - including influencer discovery, vetting, and
shortlisting to optimize partnerships. Manage influencer outreach, negotiations, and content
execution to ensuring brand alignment and audience engagement and expand HappyKids'
reach.
• Proactively identify and pitch collaboration opportunities, ensuring alignment with brand
objectives.
Partner collaborations and brand campaigns
• Social media campaigns including tentpole events to promote the HappyKids app, and our
OTT content, to increase brand awareness, and drive user engagement.
• Leverage opportunities to collaborate with FutureToday content and distributor partners to
increase brand awareness and reach.
• This includes designing and executing paid advertising campaigns, partner collaborations,
contests, giveaways, and other promotional activities.
• This also includes collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders, expectation
management, and delivering as per the planned timelines.
Trend Monitoring & Crisis management:
• Keeping a pulse on industry and kids content trends, social media algorithms, and emerging
platforms to identify opportunities for growth and implementing them strategically into the
brand's social media strategy.
• Being prepared to handle social media crises and negative feedback effectively. Developing
strategies and protocols to address and mitigate issues that may arise on social media
platforms, ensuring timely and appropriate responses. Creating and maintaining a ready
reckoner of most commonly raised concerns, and responses to effectively mitigate smaller
risks.
• Ensure all social media activities comply with COPPA regulations, YouTube Kids policies, and
other relevant guidelines.
