Project Engineer

Software Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office, Primavera, and MS Project, for planning, scheduling, and reporting.

Onsite/Field profiles are not considered.

Responsibilities:

1. Study and interpret project contract documents and correspondence to resolve complex issues and ensure contract compliance.
2. Develop and implement comprehensive Project Execution Plans, including objectives, priorities, directives, and constraints for plant design and project coordination.
3. Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring clear communication, coordination, and adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
4. Monitor project progress and performance, analyzing variances and implementing corrective actions as necessary to ensure project success.
5. Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements, milestones, and expectations are met or exceeded.
6. Conduct regular Project Coordination Meetings and provide leadership and guidance to project teams and lead engineers.
7. Manage project budgets, costs, resources, and schedules effectively, ensuring financial objectives and timelines are met.
8. Review and approve project documentation, reports, and deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with standards and regulations.
9. Facilitate the resolution of technical issues, conflicts, and challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
10. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to manage equipment/material procurement, delivery schedules, and vendor performance.
11. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout the project.
12. Utilize project management tools and software, such as MS Office, Primavera, and MS Project, for planning, scheduling, and reporting.

Requirements:

1. Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
2. Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, prioritizing, and delegating tasks effectively.
3. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse teams and stakeholders.
4. Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, contract management, and risk assessment/mitigation strategies.
5. Experience in managing project budgets, costs, resources, and schedules using project management tools and software.
6. Problem-solving mindset with analytical skills and attention to detail.
7. Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to project management and engineering.
8. Familiarity with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) standards and regulations is a plus.
