Scope of Work:
- Licensing, Registration & Renewals under below mentioned Laws in questionnaire
- Statutory Payment Computations
- Preparation of Statutory Challans & Filing of Returns
- Documentation, Maintenance of Records & Statutory Registers
- Preparation & Submission of Periodical Statutory Reports
- Correspondence and Liaising with Government Authorities - Central & State
- Attending Periodical Statutory Inspections - Responding to notice/summons, etc
- Maintaining Notice Board Compliances - Display of Abstracts
- Litigation support - presenting Labour lawsuits before Labour court, industrial court and high court
- POSH Committee - (returns & compliance)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, LWF, Shops & Establishment Act, and Return Filing.
- Handle all matters related to the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH), including policy implementation, training, and compliance.
- Manage departmental operations related to labour law compliance and liaise with government authorities.
- Provide advisory services to management and clients on labour law matters, risk management, and regulatory updates.
- Prepare and file various statutory returns within stipulated timelines.
- Draft and review labour-related agreements, notices, and contracts.
- Conduct audits related to labour law compliance and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Handle disciplinary procedures, employment contracts, and internal legal compliance checks.
- Support administrative functions and assist in streamlining internal processes in line with legal standards.
Key Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: LLB/LLM from a recognized university.
- Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience in labour law compliance and advisory roles, preferably from a law firm or consulting firm , working with MNC will be addon.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and related regulatory requirements.
- Practical exposure to dealing with government departments and labour authorities.
- Experience in handling POSH related compliance and internal committee proceedings.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to provide strategic legal advice to management and clients.
- Exposure to handling audits and investigations related to labour compliance.
- Sound knowledge of HR policies concerning labour law.
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools
