Assistant Manager/Manager - Underwriting (SQL) Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute credit risk strategies for consumer lending products such as Consumer durables or credit cards.

- Define and optimize credit approval and credit limit assignment policies.

- Monitor and ensure adherence to vintage risk levels within the company's risk appetite.

- Leverage alternative data sources, including credit bureau, SDK, telecom, and geo-data, to enhance underwriting strategies.

- Design, implement, and refine application scorecards for effective risk assessment.

- Extract, analyze, and visualize data to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

- Identify key risk drivers and monitor trends to mitigate potential risks proactively.

- Collaborate with risk systems teams to implement underwriting changes seamlessly.

- Prepare, document, and communicate policy updates effectively to relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Proven experience in credit risk management within the consumer lending industry.

- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Tableau for data analysis, reporting, and visualization.

- Python is not mandatory but good to have , at least exposure to basics.
