Informatica Data Quality Engineer (3-8 yrs)

About the Job :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) Engineer to join our team.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our data across various business domains, including Commercial Cloud, Kroger, EDF APAC, Customer Domain, Procurement, and CDR POD.

This role requires strong hands-on experience with IDQ, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse business teams.

The ideal candidate is immediately available and comfortable working remotely.

Key Responsibilities :

- Utilize Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) to perform data discovery, profiling, standardization, cleansing, and quality rule execution

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders from various teams (Commercial Cloud, Kroger, EDF APAC, Customer Domain, Procurement, and CDR POD) to understand data quality requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Design, develop, and implement data quality solutions using IDQ, including data profiling, cleansing, standardization, matching, and survivorship rules.

- Monitor data quality metrics and proactively identify and resolve data quality issues.

- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track data quality trends.

- Support data governance initiatives by ensuring adherence to data quality standards and best practices.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data quality policies and procedures.

- Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including business users, analysts, and developers.

- Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on progress.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Proven experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) is essential. This includes experience with data profiling, cleansing, standardization, matching, survivorship, and rule development.

- Must have implemented at least one project end-to-end.

- Strong understanding of data quality concepts, principles, and methodologies.

- Expertise in data profiling techniques and data standardization processes.

- Strong SQL skills are required for data manipulation and querying.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with business users and technical teams.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data quality issues.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

- Comfortable and productive working in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other Informatica products (e., IICS, PowerCenter).

- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery).

- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.

- Experience with Agile methodologies
