QA Test Automation Engineer

Job Purpose

Responsible to execute QA test strategy and publish test reports (manual and automated) for all our products to the stakeholders. The test reports should clearly indicate the quality of a s/w release (AP, UBR and management applications)

Key Responsibilities

Shall be responsible for:

1. Follow the high level test strategy and publish test reports to all the stakeholders

2. Maintain all the test artefacts in the internal repo

3. Help the team in maintaining live customer deployments healthy and troubleshooting issues

4. Active mentoring and coaching to the team members

5. Bringing Innovations and continuous improvements in the area of test execution and automation frameworks

Key Deliverables

1. Publish test reports to all the stakeholders

2. Maintain all the test artefacts in the internal repo

Functional Competency

Qualification

Required Preferred

• B. Tech CS 1. M. Tech / Ph. D
• MCA or Equivalent

Mandatory Skills/ Certification

• Good manual testing skills and experience with standard s/w testing processes
• Test automation skills (robot framework, python, protractor). Develop/execute/maintain the automated suites along with manual testing to certify a s/w release sane
• Prepare test setups to replicate field issues in our lab and raise product defects
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Good hands-on with multiple Linux flavours
• Any development experience will be given preference
• Good knowledge of Wi-Fi standards like 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, tcp/ip suite and network protocols

• A person working with Wi-Fi OEMs preferably and prior work experience of ~5-8 years
