Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Commissioning Manager to lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of CCTV surveillance systems for railway stations. The ideal candidate will ensure the successful deployment of surveillance solutions, meeting safety, security, and compliance standards while coordinating with multiple stakeholders for seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the commissioning of CCTV surveillance systems across railway stations, including IP cameras, NVRs, VMS, and access control systems.
• Develop and implement detailed commissioning plans to ensure timely execution of project milestones.
• Conduct site inspections, evaluate project scope, and ensure all installations comply with railway security regulations.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure uninterrupted surveillance operations.
• Collaborate with government agencies, railway authorities, contractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with RDSO (Research Design and Standards Organisation) guidelines, railway security protocols, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Provide technical training and support to on-site teams, security personnel, and end-users.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, commissioning reports, and handover manuals.
• Manage post-commissioning support, including system maintenance, upgrades, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and proper execution of CCTV integration with station control rooms and emergency response systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience in commissioning CCTV surveillance projects, preferably in railway stations, metro projects, or transportation hubs.
• Strong understanding of IP-based surveillance systems, video management software (VMS), and network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of railway security standards, RDSO guidelines, and government compliance regulations.
• Expertise in troubleshooting, system integration, and performance testing of large-scale CCTV systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and network layouts.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to multiple railway station sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CCNA (Networking), Milestone, Genetec, Axis Certified Professional.
• Experience in AI-based video analytics, cloud-based CCTV solutions, and cybersecurity for surveillance systems.
• Prior experience working with railway authorities or metro projects.
