Job Overview :

We are looking for a Tech Lead / Team Lead with 5+ years of experience to join our engineering team. As a key member, you'll lead a talented group of developers, architect solutions using modern technologies like Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, and MySQL, and ensure the success of our platform. You'll be responsible for building robust back-end services, working on a microservices architecture, and collaborating with front-end developers using React. This role requires strong leadership, a passion for technology, and the ability to drive innovation in an EdTech startup.

Key Responsibilities :

- Leadership & Mentorship : Lead and mentor a growing team of developers, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

- Backend Development : Architect and develop high-performance web applications using Node.js and NestJS.

- Database Management : Design and optimize data models using PostgreSQL and MySQL for scalability and performance.

- Microservices Architecture : Lead the development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance microservices (preferred experience).

- Collaboration : Work closely with front-end developers (working with React) to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.

- Quality & Performance : Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and following best practices.

- Problem Solving : Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with quick, efficient solutions.

- Innovation : Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to keep the platform innovative.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 5+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in a leadership/mentoring role.

- Core Technologies :

a. Node.js and NestJS (mandatory)

b. PostgreSQL and MySQL (mandatory)

- Preferred Skills :

a. Experience in Microservices Architecture.

b. Front-end experience with React.

- Leadership : Proven ability to lead teams, make technical decisions, and communicate effectively.

- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Soft Skills : Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
