The primary purpose of the Formulation Scientist role is to develop and optimize formulations for new and existing products, ensuring they meet regulatory and quality standards. This involves conducting research and experiments to evaluate the stability, efficacy, and safety of formulations. The role also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, regulatory, and manufacturing, to ensure successful product development and launch.
The role reports to Head of RD and is the key member of the team. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver consumer-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize formulations for new and existing products, ensuring they meet regulatory and quality standards.
Conduct research and experiments to evaluate the stability, efficacy, and safety of formulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, regulatory, and manufacturing, to ensure successful product development and launch.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all formulation activities and experiments.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in formulation science and incorporate new techniques and technologies into the development process.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to formulation and product performance.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior scientists and other team members.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most:
Masters degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field from reputed institutions.
Minimum 7-8 yrs of proven experience in formulation development, preferably in the pharmaceutical or consumer goods industry.
Strong understanding of formulation principles, techniques, and regulatory requirements.
