We are seeking an experienced, Director-level Sales Head to join our Hyderabad team and lead our growth in the K12 education segment.
Position Details.
Title: Sales Head.
Location: Hyderabad (Onsite).
Salary: Up to 25 lakh per annum (with ESOPs up to 30 lakh based on experience).
Job Overview.
- As the Sales Head, you will be responsible for developing and executing our sales strategy.
- You will build and manage a high-performing team of Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to expand our presence in the K12 segment.
- We seek a candidate with a proven track record in both direct sales and team leadership who can effectively balance hands-on selling with strategic oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve company goals.
- Collaborate with senior management by providing accurate forecasts and KPI reports to support organizational planning and strategic decision-making.
Sales Process Management:.
- Actively participate in optimizing every stage of the sales process-from lead generation to deal closure.
- Build and maintain a robust sales funnel that supports a "land and expand" approach.
Team Development & Collaboration:.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of Account Executives and SDRs.
- Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure aligned strategies and a seamless customer experience.
Market Engagement:.
- Advocate for our product by actively contributing to the closure of significant deals.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key external customers and internal partners to support sales initiatives.
Transparency & Reporting:.
- Maintain clear visibility of the sales pipeline at every stage to support timely and informed decision-making across the organization.
Experience:.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant Edtech sales experience in the K12 segment, with emphasis on IIT and NEET coaching.
- Proven experience managing SDR and AE functions while consistently exceeding sales targets.
