Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. A valid electrical license is an added advantage.

Role & responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical components.
• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and tools.
• Assist in upgrading or modifying electrical systems as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure efficient system performance.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues to management.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as an Electrical Technician.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of safety regulations and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Electrical License (Preferred).
