Role : Android BSP Developer

Description :

We are looking for an experienced Android BSP Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Android operating system development, specifically in Board Support Packages (BSP). You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing BSPs for various hardware platforms, collaborating with hardware engineers, and ensuring seamless integration of hardware and software components.

Responsibilities :

- Design and implement Android Board Support Packages (BSP) for various hardware platforms

- Optimize and debug the Android kernel and drivers

- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop and integrate new features

- Develop and maintain documentation for BSP processes and procedures

- Test and validate BSP functionality on target hardware

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Android OS related to BSP

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field

- 6-10 years of experience in Android BSP development

- Strong knowledge of Linux kernel architecture and device drivers

- Proficient in C/C++ programming languages

- Experience with Android build system and AOSP (Android Open Source Project)

- Familiarity with embedded systems and hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART)

- Experience with debugging tools such as GDB, JTAG, and trace tools

- Knowledge of Android application framework and software development lifecycle

- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
