Job Description
- Design and create detailed 3D environments based on concept art and design specifications.
- Process and work with scans, such as Mega scans and Lidar scans.
- Interpret and follow reference material to produce clean, detailed, and accurate 3D environments and sets.
- Maintain a real-world understanding of proportion, depth, scale, and physical space.
- Collaborate with level designers to create engaging and interactive spaces that support gameplay mechanics.
- Create and manage Level of Detail (LOD) models and optimize assets for real-time rendering.
- Maintain high visual standards while adhering to project deadlines and production schedules.
- Participate in art reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to refine the final output.
- Experience: 3-6 years
- Understand procedural workflows for real-time rendering.
- Knowledge of PBR workflows and real-time rendering principles.
- Model, texture, and light environments using industry-standard software, including Houdini, Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, World Machine/Gaea, and ZBrush.
- Strong understanding of texturing, lighting, and rendering techniques.
- Experience with game engines, such as Unity or Unreal Engine, is a plus.
- Maintain a portfolio showcasing your best environment work.
- Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills.
