Motion Graphic Designer

Role & responsibilities

• Conceptualizing and designing motion graphics:Develop creative concepts for animations, transitions, and visual effects based on project requirements and brand guidelines.
• Storyboard creation:Visually map out animation sequences to effectively communicate the narrative flow of the motion graphic.
• Animation production:Utilize animation software (like Adobe After Effects) to create dynamic graphics, including character animation, typography animation, and motion tracking.
• Visual effects integration:Incorporate visual effects to enhance the impact of animations.
• Collaboration with creative teams:Work closely with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to understand project needs and ensure alignment with the overall creative vision.
• Prototyping and iteration:Develop design mockups and present them for feedback, refining the design based on client input.
• Maintaining brand consistency:Ensure all motion graphics adhere to established brand guidelines and visual style.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proficient in motion graphics software:Expert knowledge of Adobe After Effects, with familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite applications like Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong design principles:Understanding of color theory, typography, composition, and visual hierarchy.
• Animation skills:Ability to create smooth and engaging animations with different techniques like keyframing, easing, and expressions.
• Storytelling capabilities:Understanding how to use visual elements to convey a narrative or message effectively.
• Technical knowledge:Basic understanding of video formats, codecs, and rendering processes.
• Collaboration skills:Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives
