Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Azure ADF

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain databases within the Azure environment.

• Design and develop ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory.

• Perform data migration processes to or from the Azure environment.

• Optimize SQL queries for performance tuning without external support.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

• Focus Areas

• Utilize various Microsoft Azure storage options including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Cosmos DB, Blob Storage.

• Design efficient ETL processes using ADF to handle large datasets from multiple sources ensuring seamless integration into the enterprise data platform.

• Create comprehensive data models that facilitate accurate reporting and analytics across different business units.

• Continuously monitor system performance; optimize queries to ensure quick response times for end-users accessing reports or dashboards.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

• relevant experience working with Azure Data Factory.

• Expert level of SQL development skills.

• experience in data engineering roles involving cloud-based platforms.

• Key Skill Sets

• Proficient in SQL with expertise in complex joins, subqueries, functions, and procedures.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Data Factory and other Azure services including Logic Apps, Functions, Storage Containers.

• Experience working with both relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with MS SQL Server, Power BI, SSAS tabular modeling on the Azure platform is a plus.
