Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tagging Specialist / Web Analytics Implementation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining website tagging solutions, collaborating with website vendors, and ensuring accurate data collection for our analytics and marketing initiatives. This role requires strong technical expertise in tag management systems, JavaScript, and web analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage tags using tools like Google Tag Manager (GTM), Tealium, Adobe Launch, or other tag management systems.
• Configure custom tracking scripts to capture specific website metrics as outlined by business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with website vendors to deploy and troubleshoot container tags on approximately 1,000 auto dealer websites.
• Ensure data accuracy by filtering out bot traffic and maintaining a clean data feed for analytics consumption.
• Provide ongoing support to ensure tags continue to fire correctly and implement new tags as required.
• Monitor and resolve tagging issues, including broken containers or tracking disruptions.
• Generate and share daily data feeds for integration with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or custom dashboards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of tagging implementations and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in web tagging, analytics implementation, or digital marketing technology.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for custom tag configuration.
• Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, Tealium, or similar tag management systems.
• Familiarity with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics, etc.
• Proficient in using browser developer tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools) for debugging and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
