Costing Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Costing & Budgetary Controls:
• Responsible for Product Costing.
• Responsible for ensuring booking of expenses as per Cost Centre and reporting of the costs to all the Cost Centre Heads on monthly basis.
• Analysis of all costs, budget vs. actual and variance thereon along with reasons every month.
• Product wise Contribution analysis
• Preparing report of Cost control & cost savings and giving alerts to the Management.
• Support in Budgetary Control activity and particular responsibility of Factory costs.
• Responsible for Product Costing MIS for all products sold during the month.
• Responsible for releasing cost estimates of new products in SAP system.
• Support in month closing activities in system.
• Responsible for Monthly Cost Center Report
• Responsible for Inventory Verification and reporting.
• Responsible for Inventory Valuation
• Support in Statutory & Tax audit
• Driving cost efficiencies at plant:
• Support in profit improvement plan
• Responsible for price reviewing and cost reduction
• Support to Marketing and Plant for costing purpose
• Support for AOE approvals and MRM
• Tracking and monitoring of Kaizen initiatives and cost saving projects
• Financial modelling & Analysis
• Assist in financial modelling for new projects and payback / IRR calculations
• Monitoring of payback on new capex projects
• New product costing
• Support in financial forecasts and business scenario analysis
• Financial accounting
• Supervision of accounts payable function at plant
• Support in fixed asset accounting and verification
• Review and timely submission of month close deliverables
• Review of accruals and provisions for plant on monthly basis
