Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for a creative and charismatic individual to be part of the product management team for Gartner Peer Products. The Data Analytics Lead will work closely with product leaders to analyse user behaviour and engagement patterns across our peer experiences and measure product and feature performance. This position will ensure consistency and quality in our data and reporting pipeline and help facilitate better decision making among product leaders by giving them insights from overall user experience on Peer Community Peer Insights.

What you ll do:

Support digital product analytics reporting capability (dashboards and PPT reports to senior leadership) across our peer experience platforms.
Prioritize data attributes or events needed for reporting and maintain a roadmap and release schedule for analysis/dashboard views. Structure and analyze large datasets to derive meaningful insights and actionable information.
Design and manage dashboards for the Product Management and leadership team.
Partner closely with product leaders throughout the product life cycle to identify product goals, benchmarks, happy paths and data collection opportunities and establish best practices and processes for ensuring data quality.
Communicate findings effectively, building outputs that clearly convey the root causes and provide a clear story for solving business problems.
Build end-to-end dashboards that communicate the performance of Gartner Peer Platforms including root causes and insights of upcoming trends, areas of bright spots and opportunity
Standardize and automate the ways we measure impact of user contributions/interactions considering target role / industry / geography / trending topics and other factors.
Partner closely with other members of the Data Analytics team to define data capture and tagging parameters and pipeline data for reporting.

What you ll need:

5-7 years of progressive business experience involving advanced business analytics, complex problem solving, business strategy
Bachelor s Degree required. Degree with a concentration in statistics, data science, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or operations research preferred.
Proven track record of solving complex problems, critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and innovation.
Strong technical understanding of data and skills to analyze as well as visualize it, including:
- Ability to conduct statistical analysis to identify patterns and trends in data, ensuring objectivity and minimizing bias by applying appropriate models, methodologies, and calculations
- Programming languages e.g. Python, R, SQL
- Data visualization tools e.g. Tableau, Power BI
Attention to detail e.g. data hygiene, quality checks, documentation, etc.
Rigorous prioritization and working in fast-paced environments: Track record of success in environments with competing and continuously evolving priorities.
Strong collaboration and influencing skills in a highly matrixed environment. Influencing stakeholders and team, based on a command of the facts, analysis, and implications.
Outstanding verbal and written communication - structured, engaging and compelling.
