Job Summary

The Tele counsellor Admission Counsellor is responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls/face to face counselling to prospective students, guiding them about courses, admission procedures, and resolving their queries. The role involves engaging with students and parents professionally, maintaining records, and ensuring high conversion rates for admissions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Counselling

• Make outbound calls to prospective students from the provided database.
• Counsel students about available courses, admission requirements, and career prospects.
• Follow up on inquiries through calls, emails, and WhatsApp messages.
• Convert potential leads into confirmed admissions.

2. Handling Inquiries & Providing Information

• Answer inbound calls and resolve student queries professionally.
• Explain eligibility criteria, fee structure, scholarships, and other benefits.
• Maintain proper records of calls, inquiries, and follow-ups.

3. Admission Support & Follow-ups

• Guide students through the admission process and document submission.
• Assist students with online application form filling and fee payment.
• Follow up with students who have shown interest but not yet enrolled.

4. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with the admission team to ensure a smooth admission process.
• Submit daily/weekly reports on the number of calls made, inquiries handled, and conversions achieved.
• Provide feedback on student concerns and suggestions for improving the admission process.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Graduate in any discipline (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Experience: 0-5 years of experience in Admission / tele counselling (Fresher’s with good communication skills can apply).

Skills:

• Strong verbal communication in Odia/Hindi/English
• Good convincing and negotiation skills.
• Basic computer knowledge
