Role Overview
Lead account activation and execution of brand strategies, roll out campaigns, promotion calendar and on-ground activations to drive sustainable brand consumption and sales growth for Chain Pharmacy Accounts under the supervision of the Trade Activation Manager India working closely with the Prescription Channel Sales Head.
Job Requirement
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business or similar and Masters degree would be an added advantage.
• Work Experience: Minimum 3-4 years continuous experience in trade activation management role for Pharma/FMCG company. Candidates with exposure of handling Chain Pharmacy accounts shall be preferred.
• Required pre-requisites skills/experience for this position: Proficiency with MS Office suite & knowledge acquired in channel marketing or retailer activations Skills & Attributes Requirement • Ability to practice and techniques related to merchandising or offline retailing • Key account management skills with ability to build relationships with key customers • Expert communication skills, both verbal as well as written • Expert understanding of different components of offline commerce
Roles & Responsibilities
• Visibility & Merchandising i. Lead and set the trade marketing strategy across all portfolio of brands across top chain pharmacy accounts and Class A+ standalone pharmacies ii. Implement advertising and promotional campaigns according to the brand values to improve brands awareness, penetration, and market share in the top tier pharma channel iii. Create, develop and execute consistent brand image across all relevant communication points across chain pharmacy and top pharma stores iv. Execute in-channel new product launches brilliantly leveraging area launch models with local adaptation where needed and customization based on account type • Pharmacy Chains - Key Account Management & category management i. Interact with customers of all levels and develop working relationships that increase the likelihood of long term partnerships ii. Provide timely and professional, responsive service to customers that ultimately exceeds expectations iii. Ideate, design, and roll out trade marketing and customer plans across A+ pharmacy stores iv. Plan coverage for new or existing accounts in their assigned territory to assess their potential, obtain feedback, share business plan, and facilitate to enroll them as "Partners" as per the given scope and guidelines. v. JBP Rollout and key account management • Agency Handling i. Build and maintain long-term trusting relationships with store associates, location/region management, and agency/client management. ii. Build strong agency partnerships to deliver world class activation. iii. Work with several subcontractors, such as advertising agencies, printing houses, etc. • Training & Development i. Educate considered stakeholders and pharma retailers on unique market channels & strategies ii. Provide training material on brands and conduct training for channel partners/accounts and sales team. Co-ordinate and work closely with the training managers to organize training programs iii. Train stakeholders on ethical considerations and provide guidance on decisions and act in accordance with Galderma values
