Role & responsibilities

Job Description: The individual should have extensive experience in T&D projects specially in EHV Sub-stations and Transmission Lines (400kV & above) in end-to-end project management. He should have experience to resolve key issues, handle execution challenges of Transmission Lines (Statutory/ROW/ Regulatory) as well as Sub-stations (civil & erection works) of 400kV & above.

The person from EPC background will be preferred to manage risks & opportunities and to complete project within deadlines by leading team (specially site construction team) to complete scope within budget as per contractual terms with support from engineering and procurement. The experience in cost-effective solutions in engineering, procurement, and leading site construction works within budget & timelines is expected.

He should have worked majorly with EPC companies and exposure to work with TBCB developer will be added advantage.

Location: Tumkur site, 79 KMs from Bangalore, Karnataka

Background of Project:

GRIL is developing 400kV Power Transmission Project at Tumkur (called as Tumkur II) in state of Karnataka by Establishment of (i) 400/220 kV 4x500 MVA Pooling Station near Tumkur, Karnataka with (ii) Tumkur II Tumkur (Pavagada) 400 kV (Quad ACSR moose) D/c line terminating at PGCIL 400kV, Pavageda sub-station (iii) 400kV 2 line bays at Powergrid Tumkur (Pavageda) locations.

Qualification: B. Tech. (Electrical / Civil)

Experience: 18-20 Years of experience
