Job Description
- Proficient in handling event logs, memory, and CPU issues on Windows machines
- Experienced in managing disk thresholds and using Treesize for verification and updates
- Skilled in installing and maintaining Active Directory, Windows Server, and MS Windows Clustering
- Adept at installing, configuring, and troubleshooting vCenter Update Manager
- Experienced in patching vCenter and ESX/ESXi using VUM/CLI
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Active Directory account management operations and monitoring
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Windows Server monitoring
- Proficient in troubleshooting issues on Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2022Skilled in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory, file server services, and DNS server services issues
- Experienced in patch review and release management
- Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Clusters
- Experienced in troubleshooting and resolving server reboot issues
- Proficient in using PowerCLI
- Azure and AWS experience is added advantage
- Must possess excellent communication and customer interfacing skills
- Must be willing to work in a 24/7 team environment
- Requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Windows Server Management, preferably with MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate ) /MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) certification
- Ability to quickly understand and resolve customer issues based on gathered information
- Proficient in using ticketing tool ServiceNow
- Responsible for responding to s or malfunctions generated in ServiceNow
- ITIL knowledge is essential
- Perform tasks such as monitoring, triaging, and documentation
- Respond to user requests with accurate details
- Responsible for triage of incoming support calls and working tickets that come through the Service now
- Self-motivated, dynamic, proactive, and customer-oriented, capable of working under tight schedules
- Interacting with engineers to provide service delivery and customer satisfaction, in a mode consistent with documented processes and procedures
