Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Floor Management:
- Supervise daily activities on the sales floor, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure the sales floor is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing at all times.
- Monitor customer flow and allocate resources effectively to provide timely assistance.
- Maintain attractive product displays and ensure proper merchandising as per brand guidelines.
2. Customer Service Excellence:
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge to guide customers in making informed purchase decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value customers to encourage repeat business.
3. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement skills.
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to drive improvement.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting GRT Jewellersâ values and culture.
4. Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed floor-specific sales targets.
- Analyze sales data and customer trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue per customer.
- Collaborate with the Showroom Manager to develop and execute promotional activities.
5. Inventory and Stock Management:
- Monitor inventory levels on the sales floor and coordinate restocking efforts with the Showroom Manager.
- Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Ensure proper handling and security of high-value jewelry items.
6. Operational Efficiency:
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations on the sales floor, addressing any issues promptly.
- Prepare and submit daily sales reports, including performance metrics and customer feedback.
- Assist in organizing and executing in-store promotions, events, and product launches.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and security protocols.
Qualifications:
- Education: HSC and a Degree in any discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the jewelry industry or relevant retail sectors, with at least 6 years of overall experience.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English and at least one local language (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada).
- In-depth knowledge of jewelry products, trends, and customer preferences.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using POS systems, inventory management software, and MS Office.
