JOB PURPOSE: We are looking for an experienced Manager - Payroll & HR Analytics to oversee and manage payroll operations for 1000+ employees across India, covering both blue-collar and white-collar workforce. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of minimum wages across states, statutory compliances, and expertise in handling complex payroll processing using both manual methods and payroll software. Additionally, the candidate should have strong HR analytics skills to generate workforce insights, optimize payroll efficiency, and support strategic HR decision-making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Payroll Management & Processing:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 1000+ employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Handle both manual payroll calculations and software-based payroll processing efficiently.
Ensure seamless payroll execution across different employment categories, including blue-collar and white-collar employees.
Conduct payroll reconciliation and audits to minimize discrepancies and ensure compliance.
Statutory Compliance & Regulations:
Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, including PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Gratuity, Income Tax (TDS), and Bonus calculations.
Stay updated on minimum wage structures across states in India and ensure adherence.
Manage Employee Compensation Insurance (ECIS) and other labor-related statutory requirements.
Handle statutory filings, audits, and interactions with government authorities regarding labor laws and taxation.
Gratuity & Employee Benefits:
Calculate gratuity payouts state-wise and ensure smooth processing as per company policies and legal requirements.
Administer employee benefits, including leave encashment, salary advances, full & final settlements, etc.
HR Analytics & Reporting:
Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports to track payroll trends, employee costs, and workforce analytics.
Provide insights on attrition rates, salary trends, headcount forecasting, and payroll cost optimization.
Analyze payroll data to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to develop data-driven compensation and workforce strategies.
Payroll Data & Compliance Reporting:
Maintain accurate payroll records, employee databases, and documentation.
