As QA engineer, you will be responsible for

• Write test cases based on user stories, impact analysis
• Prepare/Create mock data needed for executing user stories for positive and negative test cases
• Setup data in integrated applications
• Write test automation scripts using SOAP utilities or Rest Assured
• Execute test automation scripts manually or automatically using Jenkins
• Setup CICD process to automate the execution of test cases
• Work with development team to get the issues resolved and retest
• Publish the results from the testing
• Provide the demo to stakeholders and get approval for release
• Provide quality certification for the user stories release
• Ensure that JIRA and time entries are in place for QA work
• Work with the development to reproduce production issues and get the problem tested after the fix
• Certify software adhering to standards and business requirements
• Under limited direction, research, define, document, and prototype additions and changes to ESF product
• Adhere to technical and functional standards
• Attend Scrum meetings

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• Education: A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, an associate degree in Computer Programming, or equivalent education in a related discipline is required
• Related work experience can be substituted for educational requirement
• 8+ yearsexperience of Testing APIs, ASP/cloud applications
• 3+ yearsexperience Automation coding using Junit, RestAssured or other framework for automating APIs testing

• Candidates should be creative, self-motivated problem solvers with the ability to analyze a broad range of technologies
• They should also possess good communication and writing skills, be able to effectively multi-task, and have a strong analysis and analytical skill sets would include:
• Experience with manual and automation testing of Java applications and RestAPIs
• Experience on RestAPIs based on Java and SprintFramework
• Experience with Postman, SOAP API
• Experience in RestAssured is plus
• Experience in Groovy or Python is plus
• Experience with RESTAPIs design and development and Swagger API documentation
• Experience SQL writing for SQL Server or MySQL
• Experience on CICD using Jenkins
• A successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and a motivation to achieve best-in-class results
• The ability to interact with external, as well as internal clients
• Experience in Dockers and Kubernetes(plus)
• Knowledge in memory database such as Mongo DB (Plus)
