Azure Consultant

1) The Databricks Manager/Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, management, and optimization of Databricks platforms and solutions.

2) This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering, data analytics, and cloud computing, along with strong leadership and project management skills.

3) The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective use of Databricks for data processing, analytics, and machine learning.

Job Description

1) Must have strong experience in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake.

2) Must have strong experience with SQL, Python, Spark.

3) Experience working in an Agile team environment.

4) Knowledge of the tooling for deployment, monitoring and site reliability

5) Ability to work cooperatively with others on a team, and be able to effectively drive cross-team solutions that have complex dependencies and requirements

6) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

7) Experience in P&C / General Insurance is an added advantage.

8) Experience in working with GW (Guidewire) system is an added advantage.

1) Lead the design and development of data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Databricks.

2) Collaborate with business and client stakeholders to iron out requirement gaps and build ingestion pipelines.

3) Implement the best practices for data governance, quality, and compliance.

4) Manage and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts.

5) Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.

6) Provide technical guidance and support to team members
