QA Engineer (Manual & Automation)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a QA Engineer experienced in both Manual and Automation Testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely or onsite at our Kolkata office.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications to ensure quality standards.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and user stories.
• Ensure test coverage and participate in code reviews and requirement analysis.
• Continuously improve testing strategies and automation frameworks.

Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
• Strong knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright for automation.
• Experience in testing web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in writing and executing test scripts and test cases.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA.
• Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with performance testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Experience with cloud testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
