Fidelity National Financial - Network Security Engineer - Palo Alto Firewall (5-7 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Develop and configure network security policies to protect network infrastructure.

- Implement, configure, and manage Palo Alto Firewalls.

- Manage security vulnerabilities and implement measures to tighten security.

- Design and implement new solutions to enhance system resilience.

- Monitor network traffic and security logs for suspicious activity.

- Conduct security assessments and penetration testing.

- Respond to security incidents and perform root cause analysis.

- Maintain and update security documentation.

- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure network security.

Qualifications :

Network Administration and Network Engineering Skills: Strong understanding of network administration and engineering principles.

Network Security Measures: Experience in implementing and maintaining network security measures.

Firewall Expertise: Good understanding and hands-on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto mandatory).

Network Security Fundamentals: Understanding of network security fundamentals, including OSI/TCP layers, basic routing/switching, NATting, Proxy, DNS, AAA, etc.

Network Packet Capture: Proficiency in using network packet capture tools like Wireshark and SFTP.

VPN: Good knowledge of Remote VPN and IPsec VPN.

Layer 7 Features: Good understanding of layer 7 features like URL Filtering, DDOS, IPS/IDS, Antimalware/Antivirus, etc.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNP, or CompTIA Security+.

PCNSE/PCNSA: PCNSE/PCNSA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
