Executive- Category || FNP

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy, in line with company objectives and customer preferences.
• Identify market trends, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform product selection and assortment planning.
• Source new products and suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure optimal product quality and availability.
• Monitor category performance, sales metrics, and inventory levels, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product assortment and maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and operations, to execute promotional campaigns, drive sales, and enhance the overall customer experience.
• Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices
• Analyze customer feedback, reviews, and ratings to identify areas for improvement and enhance product offerings and customer satisfaction.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and ethical sourcing practices within the category.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1-3 years of experience in category management, product management, or retail merchandising, with a focus on Home & Living products.
• Proven track record of successfully managing product assortments, driving sales growth, and achieving financial targets.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively, anticipate market trends, and develop innovative solutions.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for Home & Living products and a deep understanding of consumer preferences and lifestyle trends.

• Should be a creative thinker, with conceptualization and design skills with a passion for identifying trends and opportunities in the gifting, design and innovation space.
