Role: Guidewire Policy Center (Business Analyst)

Duration: 6-12 months with extension.

Location: Mumbai, or Ahmedabad (3 days onsite)

Work timing: 9-6 pm IST

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Guidewire Policy Center Developer to join our team and support on-premise implementations and enhancements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring, developing, and maintaining Guidewire Policy Center, ensuring seamless functionality and performance within an on-premise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions to meet business requirements.
• Configure and implement PolicyCenter modules, workflows, rules, and integrations with other systems.
• Optimize and maintain the on-premise infrastructure supporting PolicyCenter.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in PolicyCenter, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation of technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on development with Guidewire PolicyCenter (on-premise preferred).
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Guidewire Configuration, Gosu scripting, Java, and XML.
• Integration Knowledge: Experience with APIs, web services (SOAP/REST), and middleware technologies.
• Database Skills: Familiarity with SQL and database management for Guidewire applications.
• Infrastructure: Understanding of on-premise deployment, maintenance, and performance tuning.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Collaboration: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Guidewire certifications (PolicyCenter Specialist, Developer, or Architect).
• Experience with version upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning in an on-premise setup.
• Knowledge of cloud migration strategies (if applicable in future projects).
