Network/System administrator /IT Security

Responsibilities as a Network and System Administrator included

• User Administration
• Install and Configure Software and Hardware
• Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
• Secure Configuration
• Patching Firmware and Software
• Troubleshoot Windows technical Issues and Outages
• Configure Internal Systems
• Fully support, configure, maintain, and networks and in-house servers.
• Install and integrate new server hardware and applications.
• Ensure that email and data storage networks work properly.
• Support and administer third-party applications.
• Creating group policy and maintaing Microsoft Active Directory.
• Resolve problems reported by the end-user.
• Need to work with External IT support personnel.
• Make sure that employees workstations are working efficiently, and they stay connected to the central computer network.
• Maintaining IT operations such as applications, email systems, hardware, software, and network security tools
• Optimizing and maintaining network security protocols, such as secure socket layer (SSL), secure file transfer protocol (SFTP), and virtual private networks (VPNs), to ensure data is protected
• Troubleshooting issues with an organizations local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and other network segments
• Installs, configures and maintains IPS/IDS, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, AntiMalware, etc. for maximum internal network protection
• The candidate should be proficient in troubleshooting OS and network-related issues with good interpersonal communication skills

Requirements

• Proven experience in a network administrator , System administrator role and IT Security
• Hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching.
• Knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.
• Experience with firewalls, Internet VPNs remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• Ability to set up and configure server hardware.
• Relevant certifications (for example, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+).
