QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Location - Navi Mumbai - Ghansoli. Permanent role with Drydocks Mumbai
Exp: Minimum 3 years experience in in similar position from a reputable construction yard.
Education - Degree / Diploma or equivalent qualification in Marine, Mechanical or Naval Architecture.

Shift - General shift
IC role with functional team management of subordinates in terms of QC checks.
Industry - Shipyard

• Civil profiles will not be considered. If the profile is a match in terms of skillset, then BE/B.Tech with any specialisation can be processed.
• Profiles to be shared only from Marine/Shipping/Ship repair industry.
• Oil & Gas or any other industry not considered.
• Mandate to check on negotiations skills (vendor negotiations) along with other screen pointers.
• Good communication as this role will involve client interactions and negotiations.

Technical skills - Auto Cad / Engineering drawing

Responsible for quantifying the actual works in line with Contractual terms, compare with the bid quantities, prepare and submit remeasure reports, variation proposals and invoices.

Calculate man-hours for each Trade for the scope specified, in line with the bidding document and / or existing norms.

Assist Invoicer to identify Lump Sum Contractors through tendering, negotiate and agree scope and prices with them

Prepare and submit additional tenders / variation proposals as requested by the Invoicer

Participate in discussions with Client to clarify the remeasure reports / variation proposals.

Client/stakeholder management, Negotiations, process improvements, Reporting

Familiar with technical requirements related to Conversion / Construction scope.
