Job Description
EY Consulting WAM Functional Testing_Staff
As a Business Tester, you will be accountable & responsible to Prepare test scenario, test scripts based on the project requirements. Execute functional and regression test cases. Report the defects in tracking tool and ensure its closure through STLC process. Candidate should have knowledge on Banking/Investment Banking/Capital Markets/Finance domains.
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience in Investment Banking/Capital Markets/Wealth and Asset Management with exposure to API and Functional automation testing using Java/Python
- Experience working on Capital market instruments (Equities/Managed funds/Model portfolios), Portfolio management, Trade life cycle, client onboarding, Retirement Goal Planning, Trade reconciliation, Asset aggregation, eSOPs.
- Able to write and execute the Test Cases for Functional Testing.
- API automation experience using Rest API/POSTMAN and other market tools.
- Must have good knowledge of Java/JavaScript and TypeScript
- Exposure to AZURE dev ops, CI/CD integration
- Experience on SQL, Relational Database and ETL validations
- Maintaining the Bug Reports and delivery Note details.
- Involved in Peer-Review of the test cases, Sanity Testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing and User Acceptances Testing.
- Organizing, monitoring defect management process
- Handling changes and conducting Regression Testing
- Involved in review meetings and walk through meetings.
- Attend status calls as needed to report on testing progress.
- Review s data regarding production issues and requests to uncover defects and revises testing strategies as needed.
- Hands on experience on test management tools like JIRA, ADO, ALM
- Availability to work in shifts to accommodate US time zones.

- Experience working on CRM applications (Salesforce, MS Dynamics)
- Knowledge on Retirement accounts (IRA, 401K, Taxable, 403B)
- Hands on Mobile testing on Android, IOS devices.
- Accessibility testing experience on Desktop & Mobile testing.
To qualify for the role, you must have.
- BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc.
- 2 -5 years of UAT/Business testing experience in Investment Banking/Capital Markets/Wealth and Asset Management with hands on API and Functional automation testing.
- Working experience in Agile environment
Ideally, you ll also have
- Should have excellent communication skills & should be able to articulate concisely & clearly
- Good experience in API automation, Functional Automation, SQL queries and knowledge on Sybase database application
- Should be ready to do an individual contributor as well as Team Leader role is what we look for
- Created QA Strategy and test approach from scratch, Articulates value, ROI to clients. Experience in conducting proof-of-concepts and Tool selection should have played the role of an individual contributor, interfacing with the clients and address their business needs
