Brief description

Seeking an Equity Research Analyst to provide in-depth analysis of Indian equities, sectors, and macroeconomic trends. Responsibilities include financial modeling, fundamental research, market tracking, and investment idea generation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide equity research support to a large asset manager.
• Work closely with the Portfolio Manager in an integrated team structure.
• Analyze and provide insights on companies and sectors.
• Conduct financial modeling and valuation (DCF, multiples, etc. ).
• Track market trends, earnings, IPOs, corporate actions, and regulatory updates.
• Prepare investment notes, research reports, and presentations.
• Engage with company management, brokers, and investors.
• Contribute to bottom-up thematic research for stock selection.

Candidate Profile

• 3-8 years of equity research experience (SRA: 3-5 years; LA: 5-8 years)
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Deep understanding of finance and accounting concepts
• Detail-oriented with high analytical rigor and a problem-solving mindset
• Self-starter with the ability to adapt and learn
• Proficiency in financial databases (Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, Visible Alpha, Daloopa, Canalyst, etc. )
• MBA (Finance), CA (CPA equivalent), or CFA (US)
• Strong analytical skills, financial expertise, and market awareness
