JOB DESCRIPTION
Designation Lead engineer
Required Qualification: BE/B. Tech in Mechanical engineering

Location Shivamogga/Mysore/Hubli

Minimum Experience: 12+


The Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Should be responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of piping isometric checking drawings.

2. Working closely with engineering teams, and ensure that all piping specifications and standards are precisely followed to maintain project integrity and safety.

3. Review and verify the accuracy of piping isometric drawings

4. Ensure compliance with project specifications and design standards.

5. Check for dimensional accuracy and adherence to project requirement.

6. Identify and report any design inconsistencies or error.

7. Ensure all piping components are correctly represented.

8. Prepare and maintain accurate records of checks and revisions.

9. Conduct detailed checks of piping drawings, layouts, and isometric drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with design specifications and engineering standards.

10. Verify that piping designs meet industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI) and align with project requirements.

11. Review material take-offs (MTOs), bills of materials (BOMs), and piping specifications to ensure accuracy and consistency.

12. Identify and correct any design inconsistencies, errors, or clashes in the piping drawings and models.

13. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of checks, and any discrepancies identified during the review process.

14. Provide detailed reports and feedback to the piping design team, offering corrective suggestions as necessary.

15. Experience in using software, such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, Navisworks, PDS, PDMS, or SmartPlant, CADWorx to review 3D piping models, identifying and resolving conflicts in the layout.

16. Able to perform clash checks.
