Thermal Project - C & I Engineer

Position- Engineer/Asst Manager

Qualification B.E. (C & I)

Experience: Minimum of 05 to 07 years of proven experience of engineering, installation, and commissioning of thermal power plant projects with BTG & BOP systems

Preference- Thermal power plant projects (Capacity>100MW)

Job profile: Candidate should have experience in Project Development/ Project Engineering and erection, testing and commissioning experience of BTG & BOP systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and understanding of engineering drawing and documents like P&ID, layout, Cable Schedule, I/O list, control and wiring diagram, instrument hook ups and providing comment in line with scope of work and best engineering and installation practice
• Co-ordinating with vendor for drawing/document finalization, material delivery and mobilization
• Provide technical support during Ordering process
• Vendor factory visit, SAT, FAT, Performance and reliability test of various C&I System
• Contractor management during protect in all aspects manpower, material, safety, tools, regulatory compliance etc
• Installation, testing and commissioning of C&I system in time bound manner with 100% safety and quality
• Resource and execution planning, project status monitoring, regular reporting, mitigating delay if any and preparing back up plan during project execution
• Ensuring integration of various C&I systems, fail safe criteria testing
• Document update, record keeping, project punch point closure and handing over systems/documents to respective department
