Vice President - Engineering - Fintech/NBFC
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Engineering to lead our growing fintech organization. As the VP of Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our engineering department, including development, testing, and deployment of our fintech products. You will work closely with the executive team to define and execute our technology strategy, drive innovation, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers, including software developers, QA engineers, and DevOps engineers
- Develop and implement a technology roadmap that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in our technology stack, processes, and methodologies
- Establish and maintain engineering best practices and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure products
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency
- Manage the engineering budget and resources to ensure the team is adequately resourced and equipped to meet business needs
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software products within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong understanding of fintech and financial services industry, including regulatory compliance and security requirements
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
