Senior/Lead System Engineering Position:

Senior/Lead Systems Engineer leads/supports engineering team with various tasks required to deliver automotive electronics products. 

The Senior/Lead Systems Engineer must be proficient in multiple engineering disciplines (emphasis in Vehicle/ Systems level, followed by SW and HW), strong in customer relationships, and proficient in general program or project management.

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Profound technical knowledge of automotive electronics products. Familiar with typical automotive OEM requirements.
• (Must) Understand Customer Requirements
• (Must) Prepare Compliance matrix, Perform Analysis
• (Must) Determine and Define Vehicle's/subsystem requirements
• (Must) Designing Architecture of the vehicle's system/subsystems
• (Must) Working Knowledge of ASPICE SYS1 – SYS5. Automotive development phases and relevant requirements at each phase
• Experience in using disciplined System development process based on ASPICE process model
• Ensuring Systems fulfil Safety and Regulatory standards (ISO26262, Cybersecurity etc)
• Traceability of Work products
• Understanding Transfer Function, Modelling, MBD, Electronics, Mechanics
• CASEAM / INCOSE / System Engineering Certification would be preferred
• Tools – System Architect / Rhapsody / PREEVISION / SYSML / UML / DOORS / REQTIFY etc
• Communication Protocol – CAN / ETHERNET / MODBUS / LIN etc.
• Development and maintenance of project documentation
• Support RFI/ RFQ activities

• Plan and Track System Activities
• Working knowledge of configuration management, project monitoring and control techniques
• Troubleshooting and debugging skills knowledge of structured problem solving (8D) methods and/or techniques.
• Risk Assessment
• Mentor/Guide junior resources
