Senior Manager - Corporate Accounts/Financial Planning - CA (5-12 yrs)

Role Overview:

This position is responsible for managing the consolidation of accounts and financials at the group level for quarterly and annual reporting. The role includes preparation of financial statements under various accounting standards (IFRS, IND AS, US GAAP) and ensuring timely and accurate statutory filings.

Key Responsibilities:

Group Consolidation:

- Consolidate financial results for the group, ensuring accurate submissions from subsidiaries.

- Oversee elimination of inter-company transactions and reconciliation of balances.

- Process necessary consolidation and GAAP adjustment entries in Hyperion.

- Conduct analytical reviews, validations, and reconciliations of financial data.

Financial Reporting:

- Prepare and finalize financial statements for quarterly and annual reporting.

- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures in SAP.

- Support in implementation of new accounting standards (IFRS/IND AS).

- Provide financial information to stakeholders and support ad hoc reporting needs.

Audit Coordination:

- Facilitate timely completion of statutory audits by coordinating with auditors and internal teams.

- Manage regulatory reporting and resolve audit queries efficiently.

System Administration:

- Administer and improve the accuracy of the consolidation process in Hyperion.

Stakeholder Coordination:

- Collaborate with finance controllers, shared services, and various finance domains such as tax, treasury, and FP&A.

Challenges:

- Managing multi-currency consolidations in a complex group structure under various GAAPs.

- Delivering high-quality financial information within tight timelines.

- Effectively coordinating across global teams working in different time zones.
