Service Engineer/Application Engineer/Technical Engineer

Job description- Service Engineer Profile:

The Technical/Application engineers responsibilities include repairing faults, servicing equipment, creating preventative maintenance strategies, and updating user manuals. Service engineers are responsible for the maintenance and correction of products that have been sold. They offer off-site corrective and preventive maintenance as well as other after-sales technical support solutions. Service engineers are often the ones who interact with customers to provide information and procedures to address the inquiries, concerns and requests to their products and services.

Role:

• Testing the Components using Network Analyzer, Signal generator, Spectrum Analyzers & Noise Figure Analyzers.
• Testing the individual cards assembled using Network Analyzer, Signal generator, Spectrum Analyzers & Noise Figure Analyzers.
• Testing & tuning of complete RF module using Network Analyzer, Signal generator, Spectrum Analyzers & Noise Figure Analyzers.
• Conducting Environmental EMI/EMC tests for the module as per user requirements documentation of RF &digital circuit schematic using ORCAD Design Software.

Service Engineer Responsibilities:

• Using various strategies and tools to provide effective solutions to customers' concerns.
• Communicating with clients, engineers, and other technicians to ensure that services are delivered effectively.
• Promptly following up on service requests and providing customer feedback.
• Monitoring equipment and machinery performance and developing preventative maintenance measures.
• Conducting quality assurance and safety checks on all equipment.
• Delivering demonstrations to ensure that customers are educated on safe and effective equipment use.
• Providing recommendations about new features and product improvements.
• Monitoring inventory and reordering materials when needed.
• Writing reports and presenting findings to Managers and Supervisors on a regular basis.
• Assists in installing the equipment.
• Monitors performance of the product & maintains product manuals.

Tools Knowledge Required:

Measurement Instrument: Vector Network Analyzer, Scalar,Performance Network Analyzers,Spectrum Analysers, Power Meters, Noise Figure Meter, Synthesized Signal Generators ,Mixed signal Oscilloscopes & High End Pulse Generator. Etc

Eligibility Criteria:

• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
