Role Details :

- This role requires a strong combination of problem solving, deep dive into technology deployment architecture & design and change/ incident management.

- Production Engineering experience across the multiple end to end journeys in the bank

- Experience with Channel Applications (Digital), middleware/ integration services and Core Banking applications

- Strong expertise on one of the integration technologies IBM DataPower, Tibco, Mulesoft, etc.

- Strong expertise on DevSecOps

- Strong knowledge of SDLC Processes

- Adopting best security and SDLC practices

- Implementation of Modern Monitoring/ Observability stack for effective IT Production Operations.

- Interactions with business leaders/stakeholders, Vendors, and internal teams for effective delivery

- Strong knowledge of IT Security processes and frameworks for Production Environment Management

- Strong knowledge of Regulatory compliances needs/circulars and Internal Audit Processes

Overall Job Description :

- Optimize and stabilize the production environment of the bank

- Work with multiple support function including Application, Network, Security, Databases, Infrastructure to drive quick recovery and also lead the short term and long-term measures to fix root cause

- Maintains documentation of systems, maps and architectural diagrams, procedures, end user documentation and technical information.

- Work towards enhancing the regulatory and compliance posture

- Drive pipelines with DevSecOps & SRE practices, to multiple environments.

- Drive automation of DR.

- Improve technology platforms stability, performance, scalability, and fault tolerance across all IT systems.

- Troubleshoot recurring issues and running the triage for problem solving/RCA.

- Problem identification and tracking to closure.

Essential Skills :

- 15+ years in leadership roles, with a proven track record of leading production stability and resiliency.

- Strong implementation experience of Modern Observability Stack, High Availability of various applications.

- Implementation of automated maintenance and switchover across multiple data centers on premise and cloud

- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a track record of making sound decisions in complex and ambiguous situations.

- Knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices

- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and leading change in a rapidly evolving business landscape.

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
