Primary Responsibilities

• Work with other Site Reliability Engineers to implement and maintain scalable, reliable, performant, and efficient systems.
• Help the team to continuously improve our operating processes.
• Promote site reliability best-practices to ensure platform resiliency, performance, and cost-optimization.
• Implement site reliability solutions based on the goals and requirements set forth by leadership, SLI and SLO

Required Experience

• At least 3 years of professional experience in systems engineering
• At least 2 years of experience programming in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or Python
• At least 2 years of experience supporting applications.
• At least 2 years of experience providing on-call support.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience

Additional Skills: Experience in one or more of the following:

• Experience delivering cloud native solutions.
• Experience in
• SRE best practices
• Application Performance Monitoring
• Microservice Architectures
• Infrastructure as Code
• Basic understanding of SRE concepts, such as Service Level Indicators and Service Level Objectives
• Trunk based development.

Education and Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
• AWS Certified Developer - Associate
• JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js and React experience.
