Role Description

Role Title Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Supply Chain Management (Indirect Procurement)

Role Summary He/she will anchor the Indirect Procurement, contract management and supplier management.

What the role entails • Handle and perform sourcing for corporate office, facilities/Administration of solar plants, substation and transmission lines, and IT Function.

• Working closely with internal stake holders and managing RFx Process (RFI, RFP)
• Deep understanding of IT Categories (Softwares, Hardware, and IT services) and development and implementation of strategic sourcing plans based on IT categories
• Sourcing for Office purchases, guest house items, furnitures and overseeing contracts and service providers for travels, facilities management, security services, housekeeping, outsourced manpower agencies, rental/lease vehicles, civil works etc.
• Identifying costing benchmarking and negotiating on prices and terms & conditions with vendors
• Ensuring timely material availability and execution of services as per the user requirement.
• Identifying potential vendors and maintaining a sound vendor base. Evaluation of existing vendors and on-boarding of new vendors post their assessment.
• Knowledge of terms and conditions of contracts
• Working knowledge of SAP MM module and profound knowledge of MS Office
• Executing P2P Process in SAP & Maximo (PO, Payments & follow up).
• Manage procurement and contracts for infrastructure maintenance of substations, solar plants, and transmission lines, including repairs, renovations, and upkeep of operational and non-operational facilities, stores.
• Responsible for scrap management, including auctions for scrap disposal, ensuring compliance.

Experience Essential Desirable

• • Graduate with about 4-7 years of applicable experience in Indirect souring particularly related to IT and Admin function.
• Experience with Procure to Pay domain.
• Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
