Production Engineer

We are searching for a reliable, innovative Production Engineer to oversee manufacturing processes at our company. The ideal candidate will join our growing team of professionals and be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, timely delivery and completing various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute production plans to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure optimal utilization of raw materials, monitor inventory and coordinate procurement.
• Conduct inspections to ensure all fabricated products meet industry standards and client specifications.
• Oversee welding, cutting and assembly operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Ensure proper functioning of machinery and coordinate maintenance schedules.
• Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.
• Identify, document and maintain records of production output, quality check, and process deviations.
• Liaise with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs and labour required.
• Ensure all production activities comply with industry regulations and workplace safety standards.

Skills & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 0-3 years of experience in in a fabrication/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of welding, cutting, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Familiarity with CNC machines and production automation.
• Understanding of CAD software and production drawings.
• Superb analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
• Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
