Software Development Manager - Bengaluru/Hyderabad

As a Software Development Manager, you will act as a strong leader and provide guidance to multiple Software Engineers. Your role will involve setting clear objectives and deliverables with an emphasis on scalability, maintainability, security, and performance. What Youll Do

• Lead software development team towards the best technical solution for functionalities required within the product
• Define expectations and develop metrics to monitor results
• You will ensure the delivery of high-quality applications that support our growing business. This includes troubleshooting and resolving the team's technical impediments
• Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to the team
• You will work in an Agile environment that mentors and fosters team collaboration. This involves coaching, training, and providing regular feedback to the team
• You will collaborate with other Teams, including but not limited, Product Management, Infrastructure, IT, Architecture when defining new designs and solutions
• You will suggest initiatives to improve current processes and technologies, ensuring that the team stays current with industry trends
• Analyze product requirements and system specifications and translate technical requirements to manageable & measurable tasks

What Youll Bring

• BS, MS, MBA or Ph.D in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• 10+ years of experience in hands on Software Development life cycle: Coding, peer review, attending to production issues
• Minimum 3 years of Management experience
• .NET Core 8.0 and above
• Strong Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET)
• Prior work experience in Product Based company
• Prior work experience in and understanding of Agile
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and workflows
• Lead the team in developing middleware applications using a variety of modern technologies with relational, non-relational databases, and cloud-hosted applications. This includes API (GraphQL, REST, SOAP), NoSQL Databases, Security, and Performance tuning of Applications
• Performance engineering and educating teams on non-functional requirements to achieve web-scale
• Domain-Driven Design and Micro-service architecture
• A strong background in the SaaS space preferred
• Strong knowledge of Business-Driven Design and Test-Driven Development
