Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for creating detailed models and designs of low-voltage systems, including fire protection, plumbing, and building management systems (BMS) for our Data Centers.
Develop and maintain detailed Revit models of low-voltage systems, including fire protection, plumbing, and BMS.
Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural Engineers to integrate LV system designs with overall project plans.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and project specifications in all LV system designs.
Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate the performance and efficiency of LV systems.
Provide technical support and expertise during the installation, testing, and commissioning of LV systems.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in LV system technologies, modelling practices, and industry trends to ensure innovative and efficient design solutions.
Participate in project meetings and provide input on LV system design and implementation strategies.
Utilise AutoCAD as required for 2D drawing preparation.
Utilise Navisworks as required for federated model preparation and clash detection
Produce clash free MEP Revit models.
Work with point clouds to revise Revit models to align with site installation locations to meet LOD500 requirements
Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM Collaborate Pro.
Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master s degree is preferred.
3+ years of experience in LV system modelling, with a focus on fire protection, plumbing, and BMS for Data Centres or similar critical infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in BIM modelling software, Revit and 2D drafting software and AutoCAD.
In-depth knowledge of LV systems, including fire protection, plumbing, and BMS, and their application in Data
Strong understanding of industry standards, building codes, and best practices related to LV systems (e.g., NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC).
