Job description For EDA tool Automation Engineer (Scripting Specialist)

Develop and maintain custom scripts and automation tools for Altium Designer, OrCAD, and PADS.
Create custom UIs, plugins, and macros to enhance PCB design software capabilities.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, VBScript, or JavaScript for EDA automation.
Experience working with Altium Designer, OrCAD Capture/Layout, and PADS scripting environments.
Create custom UIs, plugins, and macros to enhance PCB design software capabilities.
Automate repetitive design tasks, such as component placement, routing optimization, and design rule checks.
Experience with automation frameworks for PCB tools.
Knowledge of database management and ODBC integration for component libraries.
Experience in creating custom toolbars, menus, or GUI enhancements in EDA tools.

Candidate Educational & Professional Experience Requirement:

Bachelors/ master’s degree in electrical / electronic / instrumentation engineering with 6+ years of experience.
