About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Leader to drive LodgIQ's engineering execution and team growth in India. This pivotal role will focus on building a high-performing engineering team, leading product development, and ensuring seamless execution of LodgIQ's global technology vision.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage LodgIQ's India-based engineering team, ensuring timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Collaborate closely with the EVP of Engineering to execute LodgIQ's global technology roadmap.
- Oversee end-to-end engineering execution with a focus on architecture, scalability, and performance.
- Recruit and scale a high-performing engineering team, identifying and hiring top technical talent.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation through mentoring and career development.
- Drive adherence to best practices in software development, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and security.
- Ensure smooth collaboration between the India and teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing engineering teams and delivering high-quality software.
- Strong experience with cloud-based architectures, scalable systems, and modern tech stacks (Python, Node.js, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, and software development best practices.
- Expertise in hiring, mentoring, and scaling engineering teams.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills across time zones.
- Prior experience in a startup or high-growth company is a plus.
