Senior Software Engineer (SQL Developer)

[Work from Office- We are currently operating in Hybrid model (3 days WFO and 2 days WFH). We shall be shifting to WFO all days.]

Job Description for SQL Developer:

• Experience in data warehousing / reporting projects
• Projects in Financial services and capital markets domain.
• Expertise in developing SQL Reports, Stored Proc, Optimization
• Experience in developing SSRS reports
• Experience in gathering business requirements and performing functional testing (BA skills)
• Excellent communication skills; including written and oral. The ability to communicate with users in comprehensible terms is crucial
• Good attitude and willingness to learn and be positive

Preferred qualification:

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Master s in Computer Applications (MCA)
• 6-12 years as SQL Developer
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of team.
• Ability to work with minimum guidance.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in an ambiguous environment.
  Strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of Fund Accounting, Fund structure, Capital Flows, PnL Allocations across funds, Master Feeder Funds, Asset Classes (Bank Debts, Swaps, FI Investments) and Tax Lots
• Prior experience with Hedge fund or Accounting systems
• Knowledge of SQL Query / Scripts/ Functions
• Knowledge of Unix Scripts / Python / or any scripting language
